Ferries providing reliable service –
day after day, year after year
We have built over 18 passenger vessels, including diesel mechanical, diesel electric, hybrid and full electric vessels.
Diesel mechanical
This traditional installation method has been around for many years and is often the cheapest option. It is still the most common option for longer distances.
Diesel electric
Diesel-electric technology enables you to use your engines in the most efficient way possible, while reducing maintenance costs.
Full electric
This is the type with the lowest environmental footprint, but it is also the most expensive option. However, depending on the ferry route, it can be the most economical solution over time.
Hybrid
This solution is often chosen for longer routes. By choosing a hybrid, you can switch to battery mode when entering the harbour. This allows for lower emission and noise levels in the harbour.
